Forwarder
A forwarder could shortly be described as the “Architect of Transport”.
A company / an agent which provides logistics services (like tracking, booking cargo space, document handling etc.) as an intermediary between the shipper and the carrier, typically on international shipments. Forwarders provide the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to changing customer and consumer demands and international shipping (import/export) requirements. Usually not an active carrier but rather a third-party agent.
